The four winning organizations, selected for their commitment to creating parent-friendly workplaces, are Wildtype, Dscout, Tang+Company, and Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Three of the organizations received a comprehensive prize package featuring lactation equipment, stylish furniture, milk shipping services, breastfeeding essentials, and access to a Return to Work Lactation and Pumping Class. One winner was given a bundle of lactation essentials to support their nursing parents.
The organizations that won top-notch lactation room upgrades are San Jose State University (SJSU), The City of Rancho Cordova, Sacramento Area Sewer District, and Treehouse Foods. These four organizations each received a comprehensive prize package with state-of-the-art lactation equipment, stylish furniture, milk shipping, chest/breastfeeding essentials, and expert consultation services.
American Concrete Institute (ACI) is a leading global authority in the concrete industry. In our prize winner's nomination for ACI, Katie Amelio shared that "[Having] a comfortable, dedicated space designed with a pumping individual in mind will make returning from maternity leave easier."
Janessa Dukes nominated her workplace, BASF, to help provide their working parents a dedicated space close to the production line to give them a safe and comfortable place to pump and store breast milk. A dedicated lactation room will give new parents peace of mind as they make the decision to return to work after having a baby.
